The Biomac Foundation

The Foundation seeks a maximum of 15 million Euro (calculated at 1EUR = 1.32USD to be $19,849,200) to capitalize a projected three-year R&D program needed to develop its smart gun technology. To do this, Biomac is using a unique approach to fundraising — applying the power of viral Internet marketing to attract many small donations from interested parties. This grass-roots approach ensures that the organization will be beholden to fewer large companies with vested interests in gun manufacturing or have a political axe to grind.

Should the R&D program win sufficient Government grants or subsidies, its budget could be reduced up to 50 percent. The Foundation has planned for this contingency by escrowing all donations until at least 1.5 million Euro is reached. This has been determined to be the minimum sum required to begin its R&D program.  Should the 1.5 million Euro figure never be reached, the Foundation will donate all proceeds raised to the Save The Children Foundation. In addition, it should be noted that the funding of the Foundation’s R&D program will be a one-time affair, since its ongoing operations will create a stand-alone revenue source for the Foundation’s mission.
